school

College work isn't as hard as I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be work I couldn't understand, but I was wrong about college. The work is understandable and if you take your time to understand and listen to the teacher, you will understand. It really like being in high school again. In high school, I never had this much homework before. I had more homework the first week of school then I had all of high school. That was the only difficult part was doing my homework. I usually do my homework doing school because my teachers give us time during the class period or the teacher doesn't want us doing it at home. The teacher want you to be where if you need help that he or she was close to you. It was hard at first managing time to do my homework, but you get used to it after awhile. I usually go home and do nothing because I usually do it doing school. I never had to use to internet to do any assignment that was due doing school. This is my first experience about using the computer to do homework assignments or using it to talk to my teachers and getting help with my assignments. It was hard trying to found the assignments on the internet and I thought I wasn't going to make it at first. It took me some time to get the hang of it, but I got used to it after awhile. After getting used to it, i think it easier to get my assignments done and the teachers can't lose your papers and you will be able to keep up with your assignments. It also a way to get all your handouts you need and an easy way to keep you connect with the school and your teachers. Your teachers will talk to you through email and it is really easy to get all your work done. I wished our school would of thought of this when i was in high school. Our high school didn't use technology like we here at Texas Lutheran University. Mostly all my assignments has to do something you have to do over the internet and it is way easier than trying to found paper and you probably will lose your assignment to while you can save it and it will always be on your computer.

Texas Lutheran University is a good college to go to where you want to learn in a small classroom and teaches that actually want to get to know you and help you get an education that you dream of getting. Texas Lutheran University is a small college that gives you up and close teaching from excellent teachers and everybody in the school knows each other. It is easy to make friends here and to get to know alot more people and make new friends. I never thought i would be going to Texas Lutheran University when I was in High School back in Edna Texas. I never heard of this college. I really wanted to go to UTSA because they was recruiting me to play football and I wanted a chance to go play at a big time university. I knew that I wanted to play football their ,but things didnt work out that i thought wouldn't of happen. Next time in my mind was to go to UHV to get my education. It was close to my town and that was i was about to ,but then Texas Lutheran came and offer me to play football for them. i really wanted to play football so i look into it. I knew god gave me these talents to play football to help me found a way to get a college education to help support me and my family in my up coming years. Football taught me alot of tough lessons and i wanted to make my mom pound of me. I ended up coming to Texas Lutheran Unviversity was when they wanted me to play football for them. The first time i heard of their name, I was like who are they. I took a campus tour on my visit and i like what i saw. I decided to come here and to get a education and play football. College is all about managing your time because everyday you have something to do. The first week, I as behind and I thought doing both football and schoolwork was going to be hard to do. Sometimes i wonder if college really for me or should I had with to UHV instead of going here. those questions still run through my mind once in awhile. For now, Im at Texas Lutheran University to get a degree in business and that what im going to do and make my family pound.

study hall

College is not as hard as i thought it was going to be. The only thing I can get is all the homework the teachers give us everyday we go to their classroom. I havent had a day where I went to my room and doesnt have to do any homework. It was alot on my load ,and I didnt know what or how Im going to deal with all this homework my first year. I am a person who wait until the last moment to start my homework assignments and I can get distracted very easy. The coaches told us that we had mandatory study hall for all first year students and tranfers. I thought it was a study idea and, i didnt want to go. I rather thought being in my room and being on my phone would be the better than to do instead of going to study hall for an hour. my place dont even get service in the moody where we have study hall at. I felt like a hour and a half without my phone would kill me inside. The first day, the time felt like it was going so slow to me and it had only been ten minutes i have been in there. In my mind, I thought i couldnt do it and then i said "i might as well do my homework while im in this horrible place" and that was the best idea i had in a good while. My coach was there if i had any questions about my work and i was around people in my classes and we work on our projects and homework together. Time goes by fast when you doing your homework. It a quiet place to study, nobody will bother you with their loud music, and you have people and coaches around to insist you with any problems you dont know. It really did improve my grades and my ability to understand the work that was given to me by my teachers. It hard not being on my phone ,but being there made me put it away and put my total mind on my work instead of texting and doing other stuff that i shouldnt be doing like playing my xbox or being on the phone and not doing my work. College is not as different from high school. It just means you got to manage your time and get your work turn in. You also have to understand your work or you wont be able to use it for your major or life. Study hall really did help me to get all my work done, but it a pain in the butt because i miss half of a football game and i never miss football game :(

college

All through my high school years, my teachers always try to tell us how college and the real world was going to be to us after we graduate high school. My teachers warn of about managing our time, reading books, and studying was going to the most trouble in college. Knowing me I hate to read for a long period of time because i can get distracted easily. English is my worst subject over any other subject. Science is also kinda hard for me but i rather do science the english. When college actually started, I was shocked that my teachers were telling me the truth. My first week I was having a problem keeping up with my work. It had me waking up early in the morning or staying up late at night just to finish a project or homework the teacher had issue to me and me forgeting to do. I never had this problem in high school. We usually do our homework assignment doing the class period. I never used to take any homework home unless it was a project that i had to make for a teachers. I had the get some help with some of my homework ,and i had to get some advice from my family who been through college to help me know how to manage time. They gave me some advice and i ended up getting better in my time management. Football is way different in college than it is high school. Football is like a job and you got to know what you doing or you will be fired. Everything in college football is more intense and the knowledge of the game. My coaches know alot of helpfully hints to help me succeed in my games and in life. Sometimes i wonder if football really for me because you spend most of your time watching film or practicing. Any spare time you get you doing homework for another class. You really have to manage your time and if you know me, Im not that good in managing my time that good. Football in high school was if you was good you will play ,but in college their are other people that are as good as you so you better know your plays and what you doing. College isnt what everybody was telling me it was going to be. The work isnt how hard i thought it was going to be. It make you think ,but not how i thought it was going to be. All you gotta do is pay attention to your teachers and if you dont know the subject all that well you can get extra help. That one reason I like TLU because you get that face to face attention. That help me learn easily and it helps the teacher get to know you as a person.
